This assignment builds on the foundational activities given throughout the chapters, if you have
not completed the activities listed for each chapter, you may find this assignment much easier to
understand and complete by doing so first. Your work should be completed in PowerPoint and
submitted to the appropriate drop box (accessed via the link at the top of this page) by the
submission due date (see course calendar for closing dates), it is perfectly fine to submit work
early, as the drop box is open until closing date. Clearly break your work into sections for
assessment purposes--the more clearly you show your work, the more clearly I can provide
scoring feedback.
This assignment concentrates on Part III in the text (specifically chapters 7-14), and has you
envision a task that is all too common in the financial services arena...putting a presentation
proposal plan together for a financial services product (that you get to make up, choose, etc.) in a
PowerPoint presentation format and then build the plan via a presentation convincing,

management as your audience, that your plan to sell the product, idea or service (related to the
financial services marketplace) will work (detailing information from this module and the text)
You will create a presentation of no more than 40 slides maximum, and no less than 28
minimum. Your presentation should encompass the following 'sections, clearly labeled
throughout. For many of these sections, I want to remind you again that the activities in chapters
7-14 helped build and provide you additional background as to the 'how to, what to, etc.' Take a
look at the articles and videos in the activities of the chapters...they can help point you in
directions and provide you 'best practices' to build YOUR own reasoning and justification
throughout your presentation. For example, if I ask you to select the most appropriate sales
presentation method, do not just list 'canned.' YOU NEED TO REASON and JUSTIFY your
presentation tenets synthesizing the course materials...show me YOU know what's up, 'that you
can plan the work, and work the plan!'
