The organizational issue I would like to address is Timekeeping. There is a continual problem with getting employees to enter their time correctly and within the required timeframe. We use the time sheets for cost accounting, billing and payroll. When someone incorrectly enters his or her time, is late on entering or enters the wrong charge code, it could lead to delayed payroll, incorrect billing and possible penalties. Time sheets are subject to review by auditors and other federal government agencies. As government contractors, we are to comply with certain federal standards, so care should be taken regarding the accuracy of timekeeping entries.
