You will write a 15-20 page paper. Specify the type of paper you want to write - political, policy or position - and follow the work plan as outlined in your syllabus.
The final paper assignment provides you with the opportunity to research and write a professional document in a conventional format as found in published political, policy, and position papers, examples of which will be presented to you during the course. Final paper submissions must either be in a format that includes a conventional bibliography and citation style.
The final paper may also include graphics, photographs, charts, and other supporting materials with proper citations and copyright compliance. Final paper submissions must be typed (in accordance with the selected format) and the equivalent of 15-20 double-spaced pages (although most formats will feature single-spaced text). In accordance with the selected format, provide a proper title, date, and author information.
Thesis Statement
Please submit your thesis statement according to the guidelines in this week's readings and video. This may change as you move forward, but it will be your general road map.
• Thesis statements should be one or two sentences.
• Proper grammar and spelling are required
• Thesis statements are to be written in Microsoft Word or RTF
• Thesis statements are due at the end of Week 2 as an attachment via the Assignments Folder.
Annotated Bibliography
Please write an annotated bibliography of the sources you have used to date.
• Each annotation must include a full, properly formatted APA or Chicago/Turabian citation and one to two complete paragraphs explaining the basic argument the work makes and the type of evidence used to prove this thesis
• If you are writing for a journal that uses another format for citations please contact your professor ASAP

The organization of whatever media you select also has value, and you can arrange the various elements to be most beneficial in making the points you believe important. Remember, you are trying to "sell" your idea to someone else. A PowerPoint presentation, augmented with action videos and sound could work for you. The more advanced idea would be to develop a webpage (maybe through Google) with a YouTube segment.
