In this assignment, you will discuss meaningful use as a segment of the use of informatics in health care. Start by looking at the website www.healthit.gov and review the current federal directive on meaningful use. Then look for peer-reviewed articles which discuss segments of this approach. In particular, look for articles which either highlight the role of the DNP or provide information which would be useful for a DNP who provides leadership in the development of these programs in a particular setting. Reflect upon what you have read and consider the ways this information can be utilized in relationship to your capstone project.
