A. (15 points, less than 2 pages, APA): Access TeamWork Online at www.teamworkonline.com. the main page of the website lists the most recently-posted jobs in sports and live events. Scroll down the list, taking note of job descriptions, qualifications, experience, educational requirements, and salaries. Please select a minimum of two jobs and write down your thoughts on the following:

(1) What jobs do you find most interesting and why do those jobs appeal to you?  (2) What knowledge and experiences do you think you would need to succeed in these positions? This exercise does not need to be in excess of two (2) pages according to APA guidelines.

B. (15 points, less than 2 pages, APA, my major is Marketing): Since the majority of the students taking this class aren't sport management majors (but are interested in sports in some capacity), this website gives you a good idea of how you could still pursue a sport-themed job that is related to your chosen field of study:

After reviewing this list of careers (this is just a guide to help you brainstorm), give TWO examples of sport-related positions that you could be qualified to do after you graduate from Drexel with your current major. Please explain why. This exercise does not need to be in excess of two (2) pages according to APA guidelines.

Example: John is a chemistry major and has an interest in sports because he runs triathlons. After reviewing this list and "thinking outside of the box," John realizes that he could work for a sneaker company to create a material for the shoes that is both comfortable for the runner and lessens the wear and tear on the runners' joints. He'd be combining his field of study with one of his passions/hobbies.
