For the research paper, you will select a controversial topic in health care that is of interest to you. You will choose one point of view to focus on and develop a question. Conduct a literature search on the topic—there should be at least 7 citations listed on your references page. You need to support your point of view with evidence-based research.
Directions for Completion:
- Create a Word or text document for your response.
- Paper will be 5 to 7 pages not including title or references pages.
- Use 12-point Arial or Times New Roman font.
- Follow APA format.
- Create a title page and references page in APA format.
The following items you will need to discuss in your paper: (do not write the questions, use it as a guide line to do your paper)
- Introduce the health care issue
- Give historical background on the subject
- Data/Statistics
- Impact on population
- Your point of view or stand on this issue. You have to clearly define your stand on this issue
- Provide evidence to support your point of view
- Political, ethical or moral impact
- Who will benefit and lose from this issue
- How will this issue affect other healthcare organizations
- Conclusion: include your recommendations that addresses the issues
