Your organization will be implementing an EHR with the following functions:

3. Ambulatory.
4. Dictation and Transcription.

As the HIM Director you have been asked by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) consider all of the various data input types and decide which types of data input will be used for each EHR function. Based on your readings and lecture this week on data collection, data types and input, prepare a chart which lists each function, and select and record the data types, data collection method and data types you recommend. Provide a column in your chart where you provide an explanation that supports you decisions.

Hint: To help you make your decisions, for each function, think of what kinds of data are collected, who collects the data, and how. Once the data is collected, is it sent somewhere? If so, where is it sent, and how?
