Reflecting on your past educational journey, provide both an example of excellent teacher behavior and an example of poor teacher behavior that you have personally experienced as a student (at any grade level). Review the Principles of Effective Teaching discussed in Chapter 1 of your textbook (p. 3), and relate each of your examples to at least one of these principles. Be sure to clearly identify which principle the teacher did well or did poorly. In the case of poor teaching behavior, what could your teacher have done differently to improve his/her performance or your experience? Finally, choose one of the Principles of Effective Teaching discussed in your book and relate it to Biblical Scripture. How does Scripture support the importance of the chosen principle?
