Reflect on the following points:
1. What are the most important factors for the registered nurse to assess when dealing with a female refuge who is exhibiting flashbacks from trauma? Discuss cultural considerations, therapeutic communication techniques and language barriers.
2. Discuss common triggers for this population and describe how the RN can assist to decrease the effects. Include examples of collaborative care and the interprofessional team.
