Provide a comprehensive definition of development using course readings especially the final unit that assesses development. How was development defined in the post-WWII era and how is it defined today by global institutions? Are these definitions adequate in addressing a comprehensive understanding of this process, its meanings and how it shapes countries? Using at least 2 examples, illustrate how these definitions work in practice, in order to evaluate the definitions. Examples should be illuminating and relevant to the argument that you are making.
