Your presentation for this week is to discussion civil and non-civil methods to change government. Basically, you are presenting your paper.

Your presentation should address the following:

Civil Actions

1. The legitimate group or groups (interest group for example). A terrorist group is not a legitimate group.

2. The goals or intent of the group – what this group(s) wants to accomplish.

3. Include  specific collective actions and examples from your research. Collective actions are actions in which the public participates. Collective actions can include protests, letter writing, sit-ins, boycotts, etc. Be specific.

4. Have these actions been successful in the goals of the group?

Uncivil Actions

1. Actions could be terrorism, war, insurrections, rebellions, etc.

2. Discuss how a group tries to change or influence government or government policy using violence means.

3. Include specific actions and examples from your research. Have these actions been successful in the goals of the group?
