Plants are able to photosynthesize or make and store energy from light energy.
We see the sun as a bright, white-yellow disk that emits a wide spectrum of light wavelengths. In this discussion, explain why that matters to plants, if it does matter. Starting with plants, describe in detail what you think would happen on earth if the light from the sun was only in the yellow-green wavelengths. Include in your discussion what would happen to animal life, including humans? If you were to revisit the earth 1000 years after the sun began emitting only yellow-green wavelengths, what would you expect to see?
