As you discovered in this lesson, one of the most important things you can do to ensure the growth and sustainability of your small business is to develop a strong, concise philosophy of customer service for your small business.
Instructions: This assignment has three parts. The first two parts help you organize your thoughts and the last part allows you to actually write your customer service philosophy. You should respond to each section independently. Your response should completely address all parts of the question. Make sure to cite any references within each section in APA format.
Develop your customer service philosophy (reference pages 148-149 in your textbook). Use the information that you have learned about customer service, thus far, and create a philosophy for your small business. Believe it or not, sometimes it is important to be short, concise, and to the point. This is one of those times.
- Define what customer service means to you and your business (5 points).
- Describe your belief(s) and/or expectations about customer service. You will want to provide examples of your beliefs and expectations (10 points).
- Write your customer service philosophy (15 points). It should start with a short summary and then have three to five paragraphs that clearly describe your philosophy of customer service for your small business.
