One of the most interesting debates in American criminal justice

One of the most interesting debates in American criminal justice is whether or not to decriminalize marijuana. 

Many states allow the use of medical marijuana, while states like Colorado and Washington have even legalized recreational use of the drug. Legislators in many cities, municipalities, and states are pushing proposals for decriminalization in the upcoming ballots.  In November 2021 even the Federal Government began seriously debating the issue. However, this is definitely not a settled issue and there still much debate over the idea of making marijuana legal.
