"Moments of Truth” in Policing

According to your textbook, anytime that the public comes into contact with the police and judges (forms an opinion about) the quality of service that they are receiving, that is where the real values and missions of policing come through. That is the “moment of truth” that creates trust and support.

For your initial posting, first define what is meant by a  moment of truth in current philosophy. Now for the fun part -give one personal example where you experienced one of these moments of truth.  If you are employed as a practitioner, give an example where you provided a moment of truth to a citizen. If you are not a practitioner, discuss one example where a practitioner surprised you with a moment to truth.

Most of your initial posting should be a personal vignette, but make sure you meet minimum source counts.
