In reviewing the essential resource about Business- IT alignment in Rainer & Prince (2019. p.60) looking at the three major reasons for failure in alignment – which of these reasons do you think is the easiest to address and how would you make a change? Learning Activity: Discussion Forum Post

Very often people can be prone to self-criticism which has its place in self-monitoring and improving our own performance. However, people can be quite hard on themselves. Positive, productive and constructive feedback can help people develop confidence and personal growth. Please select someone in your class and give them positive feedback about one area that you found worked well in their presentation. One or two sentences will be enough.

Please note that in your career, kind words said to your colleagues go a long way to building goodwill and relationships as does consideration. Recognition and acknowledgment, when others have not noticed someone’s contribution, can go a very long way. Please take the time when you reach this activity to see if anybody has been left out from the comments and recognise their effort.
