Self-Interview Practice

This free service provided by the Career Success & Professional Development office enables you to practice online mock interviews. Interviews are recorded so you can review (and share) for learning and development. Once you register to complete this assignment you can return as often as you like to continue improving your interview skills. How InterviewPrep works:

Your interview will begin with a short introductory video. After each question there is a 3 second countdown before recording starts. For each question you will have 4 minutes to answer.

Press Stop Recording when you are finished with your answer. You will have the option to “Review, Retry or Continue”. You are allowed 2 retries if you wish to revise your response.

At the conclusion of your interview, click the Submit button. You will then be able to click on “Share” to obtain a link to your video interview.

Access to the internet

PC or mobile device (requires iPad 2+, iPhone 4+, or Android 4.0.3+). To get InterviewStream on a mobile device go to the App Store or Google Play and search "InterviewStream Mobile" and download.

 Submit assignment in Canvas:

To submit your interview, copy the link to your interview that you obtained by clicking “Share” and paste it in the assignment upload. Then go to the Mock Interview self-assessment survey in the quiz section and complete the assessment.
