Margaret Atwood Discussion

Answer EACH of the following questions in a well-developed paragraph (not just a sentence or two!!) and  include a quote from the text in your answer:

1) Choose one section of "The Female Body" and rewrite it in your own words. Also explain why you liked/identified with that particular section.

2) Some feminists (like the "some women" at the beginning of "Helen of Troy Does Countertop Dancing") look down on women who sell their bodies to men.  But other feminists (like Atwood) are arguing that women using their bodies are actually controlling men, which puts them in charge.  Explain this poem's "stance" on feminism and what, according to Atwood, makes a good/powerful woman.

3) How does the history and concept of witchcraft play into "Spelling"?  What connection is Atwood making between witches writing spells and women spelling words?
