Many of the interactions of the early modern period, for better or for worse, deal with religion. Christianity, in particular, was in a time of expansion and conflict, both at home and abroad. Discuss the problems and resolutions that occurred when Christianity evolved and expanded in two different regions–one in Europe, and one in a global context. Possible examples may include, but are not limited to, the Reformation, the Catholic Reformation, religious wars in Europe, Christians in China, Christians in Japan, interactions with Muslim regions, responses to new scientific methods, etc.

You must use in-text citations, at least two from separate course readings and two from separate course lectures to discuss these events for a total of four (4).
