In this paper, we need to prepare an information systems management (ISM) plan for the Acme Mexico City (AMC) store.

The section that I need assistance with is, the Training Portion. I need about a 1-2 pages

Cost for training for the ISM Systems

consultant, for who is going to teach the systems.

70 employers for a benchmark for how many employees will be trained on the both system and hardware.

$10 an hour for training

Budget for training $3500.

In order functionally use our ISM system, we will need to train, and mange everyone on the newly installed systems and hardware.

Training Costs

· Should reference training value in both Mexico Peso and USD (16.66 Mexican Peso’s = 1 USD) (reference:http://www.x-rates.com/calculator/?from=USD&to=MXN&amount=1)

· Expert consultant or travel for an existing Acme manager from another store to train personnel in Mexico

· Consultant/Existing manager will focus on training personnel to use the ISM software/hardware necessary to remain efficient

· Training should take 40 to 60 hours per person

· Use 75 employees (68 - 70 employees plus 5 - 7 managers) as a benchmark for how many employees would be trained

· Rate would be an average of about $10 per hour (in USD). This value is also reflective of the fact that the workers in Mexico will be cheaper than US labor, but this training should be for customer service reps, customer service managers, store manager, store assistant manager

· Yearly refresher training (by the same expert consultant or existing Acme manager)

· Likely will be somewhere between 10 and 20 hours of training per person in order to remain qualified

· Training should take 40 to 60 hours per person

· Use 75 employees (68 - 70 employees plus 5 - 7 managers) as a benchmark for how many employees would be trained

· Will be performed on-site and will be done in shifts such as to not impact day-to-day operations

· Employees could come in on an “off” day to do the yearly refresher training (and will be paid for their time)

    • Rate would be an average of about $10 per hour (in USD). This value is also reflective of the fact that the workers in Mexico will be cheaper than US labor, but this training should be for customer service reps, customer service managers, store manager, store assistant manager

( These are just ideas that I've come up with to help out with the paper )
