In 250-300 words, evaluate and discuss your thoughts on the various ways in which advances in technology can impact public health and/or disease. As part of your response, consider the following questions and answer at least two of them:

Could better technology have prevented the disastrous results of Hurricane Katrina?

How might technology aid us in the detection and prevention of large scale spreading of new diseases?

Can technological advances impact global warming? What does this have to do with public health?
