This is a CLC assignment.

For this assignment, work in your CLCs to develop a matrix that outlines each of Kohlberg's stages of moral development, and how one would reason the moral developments in each stage.

Students should use the following dilemma:

1. The emperor Nero heavily persecuted 1st-century Christians. He mandated that any person caught practicing Christianity would be thrown to the lions at the Circus Maximus. Nevertheless, many Christians continued to meet in homes and practice their faith in secret.
2. Were these Christians making the right choice? Why or why not?

Make sure to include both an affirmative and negative response to each of the six stages, as well as how each was reasoned, according to the corresponding Kohlberg stage.
