Assignment #1: Understanding ethnic aging?

This assignment will allow you to research aging amongst ethnic groups. You will learn that within each ethnic group there are some differences regarding parenting, income, utilization of services and life expectancy, to name few differences.

There are four ethnic groups that will be used for this assignment based on the material presented in your text. The ethnic groups are: African American, Hispanic American, Asian American, and Native American. You can use information found in your text and/or from other sources such as the internet ( as long as the article has an author name and first name ) or books.

These are the steps to complete the assignment:

· You must have a coversheet with your name, the date, the course name, the semester year, and the assignment title and number

· Your paper should be written English 1301 essay form using APA format to cite. Your paper should be at least two pages in length not to exceed 4 pages, which does not include the coversheet or bibliography page or any pictures you may add to your assignment.

· Your paper must be doubled space, use 12 size font, Time Roman.

· Use APA format to cite and refer to the written assignment tab to set your paper up

· Choose 1 ethnic group you are unfamiliar with or is different from your own and report on it.

· Once you choose 1 ethnic group then you will discuss the below topics on the group.

· SUMBIT as a Word Document or RTF.

 

Report on the below indicators to complete your assignment:

· Report on the migration patterns of the minority group ( where did they come from and where are they currently located now)

· Report on the group education

· Report on the role of the elderly individual within the family

· Report on life expectancy of the elderly individual

· Report on the group income level

 

Your paper is due: October 30, 2023 no later than 11:59pm.

This assignment is worth a total of 100 points.
