This journaling exercise will be the basis of your week one assignment. This week use your journaling as you read each of the articles to do the following:
- Identify one example of right versus right moral dilemma and one example of right versus wrong from your work or personal experience, current or in the past, and summarize them identifying why you identified them as such. (100 words)
- Summarize key information and ideas as you read the articles that pertain to these two situations. (200 words)
- Identify the approach from the reading you would use to make a decision for the two situations. (100 words)
- Identify the decision you would make based on the approach. (100 words)
- Reflect on the implications for you personally and/or professionally of appropriately addressing both right versus right and right versus wrong decisions. (200 words)
- Describe the moral dilemma identify the competing rights and how these make it a moral dilemma (1/2 page)
- Describe the model, from this week’s reading, you will use to make a decision and why you selected it (1/4 page)
- Share the decision you made and how you made it (1/2 page)
- Reflect on your learning, as a leader and as a person, by applying the learning from this week to a work or personal application (1 page)
- Bring in citations from at least three of the articles you read this week (or scholarly articles you have researched).
