Often times, we as readers and writers struggle to gather our thoughts and put them on paper. Many times, we can write and then delete the entire page with this idea of it not being "good enough." "First Shitty Drafts" by Anne Lamott describes the difficulties we face as we try to get our point across and the self-critiquing that may or may not be doing us a disservice in the long run. We are born to make errors, but what how do we maintain a level of belief that our first draft is imperfect? or perfect?
