Final Project

As you know from the first assigned reading for this course, Malcolm Knowles first introduced andragogy in the United States. It seems appropriate that we would end this course with our final assignment to take the Personal Adult Learning Style Inventory (PALSA) developed by Dr. Knowles.

The PALSA is described in chapter 17 of your course text. The inventory is on pages 269-272. After taking the PALSA, utilize the “Scoring the Inventory”, on page 273, to determine your scores.

Your final assignment will be to graph your results (as described on page 274) to determine how andragogic you are and then to log your component results to determine to what extent you are andragogical in each of the six areas from the Scoring Inventory.

You will turn in both the graph and the component results along with a written summary of your conclusion about those results. Your conclusions should answer three questions:

1.How consistent are your results with what you imagined your style to be?

2.How would you like your style to grow and change in the future?

3.Do you think the PALSA could be useful to use as a leader in the future? If so, explain.

This assignment should be 4-5 pages in length and follow in APA formatting guidelines.
