Introduction

 

ENGL 1010 Final Exam Essay (Posttest)

In Rosalind Wiseman's essay, The Queen Bee and Her Court, Wiseman offers her classification for the roles girls play in cliques. We often resist classifying other people because it can seem like stereotyping individuals unfairly. In an essay, compare and contrast two or more ways of classifying people, including at least one that you consider negative and at least one you consider positive. Make sure you include a quote from Wiseman's essay, The Queen Bee and Her Court, in your essay.

Guidelines

The essay should contain 5 well-developed paragraphs. 

The introductory paragraph should be developed with two or more introductory sentences, a three-part thesis statement, and three advanced organizers.

The body paragraphs should contain 8 or more sentences per paragraph. Students should cite once per body paragraph from the Wiseman essay. 

The conclusion should follow one or more patterns learned from the semester. Review the conclusion handout posted to week 3. 

MLA formatting is required.
