Evaluate Cryptology and Confidentiality (Computer)

Create a PowerPoint presentation for board members of a larger organization considering different encryption methods to help secure for data stored off-site. The audience includes the previous business owner and Chief Information Officer (CIO) exploring expanding into consulting with manufacturing facilities for document storage. The presentation should be specific to the company’s business expansion plans and addresses the following:

• What value is gained from symmetric encryption and message confidentiality?
• What advantage is there for the utilization of key distribution?
• When would a project require the use of public-key cryptography?
• Why is safeguarding transmitted data important?
• What types of data should use encryption methods?

Provide specific examples to detail your presentation. Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as “speaker notes” for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists. Support your presentation with at least three (3) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included. Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style where appropriate.

Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide.
