1. Evaluate a project report from the database of the World Bank’s Operations Evaluation Department (http://www.worldbank.org/oed) or the Inter-American Development Bank http://www.iadb.org/en/projects/projects.1229.html

There are more than 100 reports in the databases and the system is “first come, first served”. You should choose only one report

Read and analyze the PROJECT information in order to answer the following questions (single space):

a) Brief Description of the Project and Objectives (half a page)

b) Do you see a rationale for public sector involvement? (half a page)

c) What is the importance of this project for the country in which the project took place (half a page)

d) Describe who are the winners and losers? (one paragraph)

e) What are the direct benefits? (one paragraph)

f) What are the direct costs? (one paragraph)

g) What are the indirect/external benefits and costs? (one paragraph)

h) Discuss Major Findings of the Evaluation Report (half a page).
