Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) has escalated in the past 10 years with the advent of the Internet and now a plethora of social networking opportunities. There are two sides to CMC: those who think it is connecting us all the more and those who think it is creating isolation (e.g., it is diminishing our social capital with regard to communication). What are your thoughts; does it divide or combine…connect or separate?
