DISCUSSION QUESTIONS MEDIA IMPACT 1-2 PARAGRAPH

Traditionally, the role of the media has been to impartially relate the events of the day. However, in recent years, news sources have taken on a more ideological point of view. Why do you feel this has occurred?

In shaping your answer, make sure to include your opinion of what this means for the future of journalism in America. Is the media likely to return to impartially reporting news in the future, or could this trend of ideological bias grow even stronger? Also, provide an example that illustrates how the media and the electorate are shaped by one another
