In addition to providing us with food and oxygen through the process of photosynthesis, plants have been utilized in many ways by humans for centuries, primarily because of certain structural and functional features. The Nature of Science theme in chapter 24 of your textbook/e-book focuses on the many uses of bamboo. For this discussion, read about the uses of bamboo and then choose a plant and highlight some of the uses of the plant that you have chosen. Explain the significance of the plant use or product obtained from the plant as it relates to some aspect of its importance to society which may include an economical impact. You cannot discuss the bamboo plant for this assignment.
