Drawing is one of the oldest forms of expression.  It is also often regarded as the foundation for artistic study.  How can a field with such a long and storied history also be regarded as an innovative medium today?  How do contemporary artists push the boundaries of drawing?  Please give at least one specific example of a contemporary artist pushing the boundaries with drawing in their work.  Please use ART 21 as a resource to help you discover artists for this discussion topic.
