Discussion -Describing the biological system involved with the health

Read the case study assigned to you and study the section of the chapter describing the biological system involved with the health condition in the case study (nervous, endocrine, immune, cardiovascular, or musculoskeletal, reproductive, etc.). Then respond to the following questions:

1. Briefly summarize the case study
2. Explain the biological aspects of the health problem and prognosis.
3. Discuss the psychological impact of the diagnosis on the patient and the patient’s significant others.
4. How might the client’s physical functioning, health  status, and physical appearance influence their life and other's perception of them (social impact)?
5. Describe the social worker’s role? How can the social  worker assess or intervene with the client? What family and community     supports could you explore with the client?
6. How would socioeconomic status affect the likelihood of the occurrence of the medical condition described in the case study? 
7. How would socioeconomic status affect the quality of  medical care available for each of the individuals in the case studies?
