1. Why is the development of perceptions (cognitions) and a sensory system so monumental, in particular to preschool aged children?

2. According to Goldstone et al., (2015) the brain is made up of dense regions with sparse connectivity between regions. It takes the brain time to attribute a specific task according to the need of the organism by adjusting steadily and repetitively. Synaesthesia is described as an involuntary experience involving interactions between two or more different sensory qualities (Beeli et al., 2005). How can synesthesia assist in cognitive problems? Do you think synesthesia be learned like a language? Why?
