Design Secure Systems

This assignment addresses questions specific to designing secure systems. Create a PowerPoint presentation for a group of business owners to stress the importance of the various topics. The business owners have never faced a security issue and have limited knowledge in this area but would like a better understanding to prevent any potential security issues in the future. Your presentation should address the following:

• What are the additional steps that must be taken to design a secure system?
• How can the original system development life cycle (SDLC) be modified to ensure system security?
• How can the system be adapted for future modifications such as telecommuters and Software as a Service Applications? Provide specific examples to detail your presentation.

Incorporate appropriate animations, transitions, and graphics as well as “speaker notes” for each slide. The speaker notes may be comprised of brief paragraphs or bulleted lists. Support your presentation with at least three (3) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources may be included. Be sure to include citations for quotations and paraphrases with references in APA format and style where appropriate.

Length: 10-15 slides (with a separate reference slide).
Notes Length: 100-150 words for each slide.
