W5A - Technology Changes Space
In your own words, what does it mean to say, "technology changes the way that people ineract space." Give specific examples of technologies changing space to illustrate your thinking. Describe the original space, the technology introduced, and then how the space was changed. I suggest you create a fictious character to help the reader get a real feel for the situation. W6B - Working With People That You Never See
It’s just as easy and effective to work with people that you never see. Agree? How do collaboration tools connect people who work remotely and bridge groups that work in virtual teams? Associate specific types of tools with specific behaviors (e.g., chat enables causal conversation). Where do tools fall short? How would you improve these tools? Thinking outloud here: Seems a little like going to school online. I'd say we're thinking about pretty complex ideas and detailed work.

W7A - Correlation v. Causality
Data driven models help us to understand the past and predict future events, that’s for sure. Nevertheless, there are still the questions of does the data tells us all that we want to know and how well we can predict. Based on your own knowledge of statistics and big data, take a side in the following argument: If we have a big enough data set, we predict definitively what customers want. In your argument, you must discuss causality versus correlation and the risks/benefits of taking either perspective.

W7A - Too Much Data
We often talk about the value of digging through big data. When is aggregating large amounts of data dangerous? Should people have the right to be forgotten? What kinds of national and corporate policies are important, and what kinds of security and controls should be considered?
