• What similarities do you see between the balance sheets and income statements of smaller community banks versus major money center banks?
• What are the principal differences?

For comparison purposes, view the most recent financial reports of one or more community banks in your home town or local area, and compare them to the financial reports filed most recently by such industry leaders as J.P. Morgan Chase and Citigroup. You can find data for all FDIC-insured institutions at SDI (www2.fdic.gov/sdi/), or you can search an institutionâs website.

Your essay must meet the following requirements:

• It must be 3-4 pages in length, not including the cover and reference pages.
• Follow the CSU-Global Guide to Writing and APA. Your essay should include an introduction, a body with at least two fully developed paragraphs, and a conclusion.
• Write clearly, using excellent grammar and style techniques. Be concise and logical. You are being graded, in part, on the quality of your writing.
