An Apple iPhone was taken to forensics for examination, but scientists were unable to gain access to the phone due to its security features. The manufacturing company Apple refused to assist in the investigation due to the privacy concerns for their customers and the security of their phones (codes), which resulted in a lawsuit between the U.S. government and Apple.
