Course Reflection - Currently being applied to everyday public health issues

Course Reflection
During the duration of this course, I learned a lot about the different theories that were and is currently being applied to everyday public health issues that actually help people to overcome their health problems, issues or at least understand how to begin to get better.
As a future public health planner, I hope to implement some if not all of the theories that I have learned to help me to look at the bigger picture and be able to develop more tailored solutions to problems like interventions and evaluating their success in my future and current role. I have also learned things and situations are not always as they seem, but hidden layers do exist to those problems and in order to find the layers we have to question who, what, when and why. This is how we can help to identify suitable target audiences, methods of change and outcomes for evaluation.
For me, the most challenging for course were the many chapters to read and understand in depth what is being explained and visually apply them to situations. It wasn’t easy, because, working fulltime and being a fulltime parent are two other very demanding jobs and it takes a lot of willpower to balance it all and trying not to crack under pressure. But support from my kids did help me along the way and help me to look at the bigger picture, the future and what I am prepared to do and who I am preparing to help, my community.
