· Paragraphs must run 4-6 lines each.

· Separate memo paragraphs with one single space.

· Begin each paragraph with a clear and simple topic sentence (1 line max).

· Include a clear introduction with a focus on background.

· End your introduction with a short, underlined thesis statement (1 line max).

· Focus three body paragraphs on the three parts of an essay, in order.

· Underline the restated thesis that begins your conclusion (1 line max).

· Do not use any form of the word you.
