Field Experience A: Assignment Modification

For Field Experience A: Watch 5 hours of videos related to early (gr. 1-3) reading assessment and/or literacy framework.

Early literacy assessment is important to help teachers guide instruction. Some types of assessments are: Screening, Diagnostic, Progress Monitoring and Outcome Assessments. Examples are: Running Records, Informal Reading Inventories (IRI), Dibels, etc. Research videos that discuss different reading assessments as well as some that show you how the assessments are administered.
