The Black Freedom Movement (Civil Rights Movement and Black Power Movement) and the struggle for equality has produced many martyrs. Some of the most famous martyrs of the Civil Rights Movement were Emmett Till, Viola Liuzzo, the "Four Little Girls", Dr. Martin Luther king, Jr. and Malcolm X however there were so many that were murdered for the right to be equal.
