1. Differing perspectives on this problem area: What has been the nature of the problem from different perspectives, what have been the changes in values, trends, and/or social attitudes over time, what is the dominant view in the US at this time? ( up to 2 pages)

2. Summary of your agency search: Search for three agencies in Santa Clara County which serve the clientele and provide services your e-portfolio covers. For each agency, provide an agency summary including the following:

• Agency name and website address.
• Identify the main service(s) related to your group’s practice field, provide a brief description about the nature of the service(s) including the eligibility criteria.
• For each service, identify levels of interventions (i.e., micro, mezzo, and/or macro) and social work methods (i.e., casework, group work, and/or community organization).
• For each service, identify social work functions (i.e., consultancy, resource management, and/or education) and roles under each function (e.g., under consultancy function, there are roles of enabler, facilitator, planner, and colleague/monitor roles).
• Identify types of the agencies (i.e., public vs. private, primary vs. host, sectarian vs. non-sectarian, profit vs nonprofit, private practice).
