Write a 700- to 1,050-word paper describing the type of hospitality business you would pursue. Address the following in your paper:
- Carefully describe the concept of your business.
- Explore the key entrepreneurial attributes and success factors in the reading, and then assess your current entrepreneurial skill set. Then discuss in your paper any areas that may need further development or special focus when considering this business.
- Visit the Bplan website and select a sample business plan for your selected hospitality business. Use this information in conjunction with the reading to develop an outline for your plan.
- Include in your paper an outline and brief description of the key components and sections of your business.
Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines
Purpose of Assignment
This assignment lays the foundation for all projects in the course. It includes an exploration of key entrepreneurial success factors, a self-assessment of the students existing entrepreneurial skill-sets, and a comparative analysis of the two in order to identify opportunities for individual development.
The success factors examined in the analysis should be those needed for a hospitality segment of interest, and a specific business concept within that segment should be identified and discussed. This concept will be the focus of numerous assignments during the course.
