For this assignment, write a need statement for the organization you selected in Unit 1 for inclusion in the proposal to receive the grant you selected in Unit 2.

Your Need Statement paper must contain the following components:

• Introduction: Clearly state the need and explain why support for the organization is justified.
• Strengths: Describe the factors that indicate the strengths of the organization’s community.
• Needs: Describe the needs of the community as they relate to the grant objectives of the grant maker.
• Goals and objectives: Describe how the grant will be used and the outcomes the organization hopes to achieve.
• Summary: Succinctly restate the need, the reasons support should be provided, and the other factors in favor of making the grant. Make a convincing statement about the organization’s worthiness to receive and administer the grant.
