The American Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Nurses and the International Council of Nursing Code of Ethics define professional ethics and their importance in the healthcare environment.  What are the common themes seen in the two codes, as they relate to your nursing practice?

Share a situation or example from personal experience or professional practice where you were uncomfortable because someone else’s belief system conflicted with your own.  How did you react?  Would you respond differently today? Attach or insert a Microsoft Word clipart caricature, picture, or photo into your discussion that illustrates the conflicting belief systems and explain why you chose the particular exemplar.
