Discussion 1 – Thinking about which species interests you

In the Week 1 Discussion, along with introducing yourself and completing the other parts of the discussion, you will think about and share specific species (microorganism, plant, animal, or fungus) that you may be interested in researching for your Course Project. (Note that in Week 2, you will make your final decision and only research one species.)

Mini-Presentation Assignment- Species Choice (Due Week 2)

For this week, you will create a very short mini-presentation (three to four concise slides) introducing your topic (species) that you will continue to research over the next seven weeks of the course. You will submit your Mini-presentation in the Assignments link (under Course Tools).
