Homework 1

Each module your homework will include both the Hands-On Projects and the Case Projects located at the end of each chapter in assigned reading. For Homework 1:

1. Do Hands-On Projects (HOP) 1-1 and 2-1

NOTE:

1. Although the text references Windows 7 as the operating system, all of the assigned Hands On Projects (HOP) will work in Windows Vista.

2. Windows Server 2008 or any other version will not be required for any assignments.

3. HOP 1-1 calls for you to install the ZoneAlarm Free Firewall. If you have another firewall besides the Windows one, you are not required to do this HOP. You should instead answer the questions in the text based on your firewall (specify it in your answers). You should also be aware that the ZoneAlarm firewall installation will perform changes to your system setup. You will remove it in a later chapter.

2. Do Case Projects 1-1 and 2-1
