Assess Authentication and Access Control Best Practices

Identify five (5) best practices for authentication and access control. Address how best practices can be used when planning for authentication, access control, and administration. Consider the following:

• Describe policies that could be put in place in terms of passwords, changing passwords.
• Describe different types of authentication and access controls that can be implemented within a business. Identify some of the strengths and weaknesses of each.
  

Support your paper with at least three (3) resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included. Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
